The Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland^® offers many just-like-home amenities, such as laundry facilities, full kitchens, a library and indoor and outdoor play areas.

Sunroom
Masterpieces of all shapes and sizes are created in the sunroom which is stocked with donated art supplies. Children and parents are often inspired by our gardens, which are in easy view of the area. The cozy sitting area contains a TV/DVD player and fireplace.

Children's Play Room
Located just off the front lobby, young children squeal with delight after entering this room and seeing their favorite toys.

Club House
Geared toward older children, the Club House is a hang out for adolescents and teenagers. Comfortable furniture, a TV, stereo, DVD, VCR, and Super Nintendo provide a relaxing and open forum for older pediatric patients and their siblings.

Guest Rooms
Each room has two double beds (limit four people), a private bath, an alarm clock or clock radio and linens. A recent upgrade of our phone system now allows families to use calling cards from the privacy and comfort of their rooms. While televisions are not offered, you may bring your own(with an antenna).

Handicapped Facilities
The House is equipped with an elevator and there are two rooms with wheelchair accessibility. Please request one of the rooms if you may need it.

House Activities
An activity board outside the kitchen lists daily events. During your visit, you might find civic, social and corporate groups preparing a meal, hosting a bingo game or a visit from certified pet therapy dogs.

Kitchen
This bright large room is open 24 hours a day giving you the chance to meet people from all over the world while you share four workstations and meals. The kitchen includes a dining room and a private locking pantry for each family. Through the kitchen families can access the patio with gas grill and picnic tables.

Laundry
All the supplies needed for washing and drying clothes are provided at no cost. In addition, the laundry room includes a sewing machine, irons and ironing boards. As an effort to keep our costs down, guests are expected to wash their bed linens before leaving the House.

Family Resource Center
Six laptops with wireless internet access are available (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.). In addition, DVDs and medical reference materials can be signed out. Wireless internet access is available throughout the House. Families can stay in touch with relatives and friends through email, research their children’s medical conditions or telecommute.

Family Office
This 24-hour office, for adult use only, includes a desktop computer with office software, wireless internet access, printer access and a telephone.

Family Lounge/Library
A wide selection of books are available for all ages. Comfortable seating and a television/VCR make this room a favorite spot for relaxing.

Living Rooms
A fish tank, fireplace, magazines, games and puzzles foster relaxation in the living rooms. While we maintain a supply of movies for the VCR, feel free to bring along some of your favorites.

Meeting Room
Located in the administrative wing, this all-purpose room is used for board meetings, crafting workshops, movie nights and birthday parties.

Secured Parking Lot
Private parking is available to all families. Please register your car’s make/model when you check in. Since free shuttle buses are available to both Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and the Children's Hospital at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, families don't have to pay for parking at the hospitals.

The Gardens and Playground
An outdoor playground, the Children's Garden (with teepee and waterfall), a Contemplative Walkway, vegetable and herb gardens and a handicapped-accessible tree house provide comforting diversions for all families.
